Baby Baby

Hey Fam! So this morning we got the 1st ultrasound done of our baby!! It was moving around quite a bit so the face is pretty blurry! It makes it real when you finally get to see the baby moving around and hear the heart beating!! Also...we get to find out what it is at 18 weeks which is September 10th! We love you all and hope you are doing well!!

Little Misses Birthday is scheduled!

Hey everyone-things have been so busy! I am sorry for not getting back with anyone who has called or emailed! First things first-Our little girl (who is nameless due to agreement between me and paloop) is scheduled for the c-section on aug. 20th. Most likely the c-section will be starting at 730am so phone calls will follow some time after:) Hooray-the count down starts! Second, we are closing on our house today or tomorrow. Pictures will be posted soon. I promised mom and leah that i would do before and after pics. I love everyone and cant wait for our mini family reunion next year:) (good idea angie) Stink update-(for those of you who dont know stink is kurtis) just turned 17 months-and has a huge scab on his forehead from falling off a chair onto the concrete. It was so funny we were swimming sat in our apt. pool and two little 4 or 5 year olds ran over to look at him and ran off-as they left one said,"see he does have a red dot on his head!" Funny:) He waves bye bye and hi to everyone-however instead of the actual bye bye motion he does the "come on" motion (backwards) hes half there-but it makes phil and I laugh. love to everyone and I will post pics soon.

Temples, Dams, and Celebrities

So this post is going to have a million pictures ('cause I love pictures) of our adventures in Vegas this past week! Last Sunday after church we decided that we wanted to go see the temple grounds so we picked up our friends the Leonards and headed down the freeway for the long (20 or less minutes) drive to the Temple! It is so crazy to have a temple so close! It really is a gorgeous temple too!! Here are some pictures:

Yesterday we went to Hoover Dam because it is only 22 miles from us!! Isn't that crazy? Didn't even know that until we moved here (apparently my geography class didn't help much :). It was pretty cool. I had just watched Transformers the night before so ya know it was pretty cool to see it in real life!

Also...guess who just moved into our ward? Marie Osmond! Weird huh? She's our first Celebrity sighting in Vegas and she's in our Ward!! I don't have a picture of her or anything I just thought it was cool to share!

Hope everyone is doing well and I hope we can all arrange our vacations for next year to be home for a little reunion. Let's all shoot for July and start saving our money now.

Vegas Move

Hey fam! Here are some pictures of our move! This last picture is Chris' new work...pretty snazzy huh? We love you all and miss Chico already but are having a good time seeing the sights of Vegas! Today we went to our new ward and it was very good! There are a lot of young families. After our naps we are going to go for a drive to see the temple. It's nice to be so close to everything. Hope you all had a good fourth of July oh and here's a picture of the sunset from our balcony...so beautiful!!
